Family Portraits with the Zf Tonight the new Nikon Zf did family portraits for the first time. I was blown away at how well the eye autofocus works with this camera compared to my old Fuji X-T5. It just locks on and I didn’t see a single miss in any shots. The Fuji was good at eye AF, this Zf is otherworldly. These were for friends and we were short on time, so I used a single lens, the Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8 and an off camera Godox V1n through a 24″ double diffused softbox. I would have liked to better balanced ambient and subject exposure, but it works well enough. A solid first portrait outing with the Zf and I look forward to better learning it and getting quicker with it. No complaints so far though.
