A Wintry Hike with a Single Prime I recently purchased a Viltrox 23mm f/1.4 lens to give me a little bit more light gathering and wanted to test it out by taking it on a short hike. Since the weather was so chilly, I figured I’d take nothing else to prevent changing lenses. It was nice not having to think about what focal length to choose and just focus on composition. The Viltrox performed great and was easy to use on the Fuji X-Pro3. My only complaint is the clickless aperture ring. It is firm enough that it doesn’t seem to move on its own, but having clicks told hold it in place and be able to feel how many stops you are changing without looking would make the lens nicer. Other than that, no real issues. Post navigation A Short Hike Around a LakeBack to Ohiopyle
