Kayaking in the Evening This evening turned out to be surprisingly uneventful for me so I took advantage of it and tossed a kayak on the roof of my truck, packed a drybag of camera gear and headed out to a local lake for a quick paddle. The quick trip around the lake was such a relaxing and calming time. There were some fishermen out on various small boats, but the lake was very quiet. Most of the noise was simply the water lapping at the bow and the wind whistling over the water. The cloudy skies hampered any chance of a nice sunset shot, but it all worked out in the end.
